Sainte-Marie Vintage has released a fashion video in anticipation of the online pop-up shop with HiStyley. The dreamy video is directed by Steven Yatsko and features new music by The Polyamorous Affair (whose song ‘White Hot Magic’ you may know from the latest Skyy Vodka’s commercial).
The video (directed by Steven Yatsko) is a feast for the eyes with shimmering sequins twinkling in darkness, gloaming pastel light illuminating a surreal soundstage, and gorgeous gals strutting despondently to a song of broken dreams. An arrow sign spinner in his Sunday best appears as a kind of esoteric usher to the hopes and desires that endlessly haunt the catwalk streets of Hollywood. The song is ‘Metropolis of Vice’, an unreleased track by The Polyamorous Affair (a duo which is co-fronted by Sainte-Marie Vintage’s owner Sissy Sainte-Marie).
